Delhi has floated tenders worth ₹3.2 crore to upgrade 17 government centers—dispensaries, PHCs, and a polyclinic—into comprehensive urban primary health centres known as Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. Facilities in Jaitpur, Meethapur, Dwarka, Ramdutt Enclave, and others will receive the modernization upgrades.
Services will now include digital systems, enhanced diagnostics, yoga facilities, and e-health records, transforming basic centres into institutions offering preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and palliative care.
This initiative aligns with national health infrastructure goals and promises significantly improved care access for lower-income urban populations
