TN Launches “Nallam Kaakkum Stalin” Specialty Health Camps Across Tamil Nadu

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated "Nallam Kaakkum Stalin," a six-month campaign of specialty health screenings across Tamil Nadu’s districts. More than 1,250 camps will offer free diagnostics (ECG, ECHO, X-ray, ultrasounds) and consultations, with digital records provided.

Target groups include individuals over 40, those with chronic or mental health conditions, pregnant/nursing women, persons with disabilities, and marginalized tribal communities. CM Stalin emphasized that preventive healthcare is essential, having resumed duties despite his own recent cardiac procedure.

The program complements existing home-based services ("Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam"), focusing on master health checks and early disease detection to improve long-term health outcomes.
