Following intense rains in Rajasthan, the health department has launched ‘Swasthya Dal Aapke Dwaar’, a door-to-door mosquito larval survey, in districts like Ajmer amid rising mosquito-borne infections. So far this year, cases stand at 570 dengue, 461 malaria, and 184 chikungunya—without fatalities.
Fogging and larval surveillance teams are intensifying prevention efforts, particularly in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and ahead of the Ramdevra Fair. Medical kits, treatments, and bed availability are also being closely monitored.
Early detection and vector control are key priorities. Health officials aim to sustain public awareness campaigns and infrastructure preparedness throughout monsoon to avert larger outbreaks.
